Coldest Nov/Dec in Manchester that I can remember…
December 17th, 2008Its freezing, and its been freezing for ages… We don’t normally get this in December in Manchester at least. Normally its about 10C, wet, but at least a little warm. For the past month now it’s been mostly around the 4C mark, frosty almost every morning and we have even had snow. Actually pretty much the whole country saw some of the white stuff. Plus fitting vinyl in a cold cold Manchester city centre isn’t good for the soul…
With the cost of energy prices and the fact that our heating is about as good as a candle heating a barn in a -20C hurricane, I fear our bill is going to be quite large. Hopefully the recent energy regulator stuff will calm the prices down a little; well at least I hope so.
