October 23rd, 2008Doing a lot more digging into the capabilities of Wordpress has really helped me develop my skills over the past month or so. The source for this digging was mainly due to the fact that I have been designing/developing a website for the lovely people at Salford University Boat Club. You can see the website as it is at the moment here.
So with all that digging came the itch to refresh the website – unfortunately I’m battling with an idea for the front page, every time I get one, I make it, then dislike it… So I apologise for the lack of a decent front page, although I am sure you will spare me the wrath of your judgement, while I try and make something pretty 
I have also been enjoying Twitter recently! I’ve been following the writers of some of my favourite places on the web, and its nice to make links across the world to other self employed individuals and learning off each others experience, links, posts and all that. I don’t think Twitter is very big over here in the UK, it definitely seems bigger over in the US anyway, but if you spend a lot of time at the computer I would recommend it, it’s a good laugh and a nice way to stay in touch.
So expect a lot more content to follow, and the look to develop into something more finished. I hopefully will have my first How-to style thing about vectors, vinyl and all things cuttable.
